ANALYST – ALTERNATIVE ASSETS

Department Overview
The Alternative Asset teams have a global operating model, providing back office operational support to investment management clients across a wide range of asset types. The department’s primary responsibilities include trade execution, asset administration, corporate event monitoring and divestment processing. 

The team act as a liaison between internal and external clients and the various alternative assets teams to ensure client’s information is accurate and that client deadlines are adhered to. Compliance with all internal/external controls and procedures is paramount to ensuring accurate trade placement. Assist in developing, modifying and implementing effective internal control procedures as well as provide training support to other team members.

Individual Responsibilities
Processes subscriptions, redemptions, switches, distributions, equalization, management fee rebates, third party payments, and transition securities associated with fund of funds. 
Ensures all fund documentation is completed accurately and timely in accordance with the prospectus and agreed client service level agreements.
Meet all internal and external deadlines for processing dealing, wire payments and system controls.
Assists manager and/or staff in the resolution of complex technical processing and daily work volume problems. 
Investigates and resolves inquiries including out-of-balances and exceptions, communicating solutions to appropriate parties.
Monitors, maintains, and controls the security control function and/or all assets held in safekeeping. 
Resolve exceptions associated with related processing, identify errors affecting accounts, and making necessary corrections.
Identifies and describes complicated situations involving securities transactions, and brings to the attention of management and systems staff.
Communicating with a diverse set of internal and external clients including:  Investment Managers, Clients, Client Service partner, Relationship Managers and other external parties

The Alternative Asset Servicing Team operates in a dynamic, time-bound and client focused work environment. The successful candidate will benefit from having:
