The key responsibilities of the role include: 

Primary duties will involve the timely and accurate processing/settlement of trade information received from various trade communication sources. 

Initially assigned to Electronic Document Management or Enterprise Relationship management desks- responding to triggers in market and securities codes (ISIN) international securities identification numbers.  Review ISIN's to determine asset pricing, trade dates, value dates, commissions to be paid, net amounts and broker details. 

The role requires identifying patterns in trades that present with errors outside of STP (straight through processing).  The incumbent will review a large number of trades daily and must be able to multi-task between systems and applications.

The incumbent will be required to develop a depth and breadth of knowledge related to the trade lifecycle for both US and Global securities, SWIFT message layouts as it pertains to trading activity, and related country-based market practices.  

The incumbent will be expected to meet productivity and quality metrics, and identifying processing improvement opportunities to increase Straight-Through-Processing and quality gains.  The partner may be expected to contribute with the training and collaboration with their peers on new and existing processes.


The successful candidate will benefit from having: 

College or University degree and relevant work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred.

Good oral and written communication skills are required.

Analytical and problem solving skills are required 

Good knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
 
Customer Service Orientation is required as is some industry knowledge of Financial Instruments, valuation business and regulations 

Working knowledge of NAV calculations, Corporate Actions and Hedge Funds and Bloomberg, FT Interactive Data and Telekurs is preferred
