We are looking for a Consultant , Client Services-Corporate Actions

 

What You Do:


 
As a key member of the Corporate Actions Client Engagement Team, the individual provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to the team, business partners, and clients.  The Consultant carries out activities and projects that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult. The role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and implementation of the strategic direction of business function activities.  The Consultant is seen as a key advisor on significant business decisions and serves as a point of contact to clients within Corporate Actions.
    


Operations Management:

 

1.    Provide best in class client service through the execution of daily functions and tasks. 
2.    Drive the development, maintenance and adoption of standard desktop procedures
3.    Perform  root cause analysis and escalate repetitive operational problems to management via formal action plan for the benefit of our clients. 
4.    Can work effectively both as a team member as well as an independent self-motivated individual 
5.    Capable of multi-tasking on complex tasks and projects
6.    Able to cross-train junior level Partners on other functions as well as provide back up
7.    Serve as a key subject matter expert for both regional and global business optimization initiatives
8.    Able to identify opportunities for improvement within existing technology applications while acting as a liaison with Partner areas to drive resolution
9.    Serve as a coach and mentor to  junior level Partners on both operational processes as well issue analysis and resolution 


Client Service Management:

 

1.    Ensure timely response to queries is provided by all team members
2.    Independently build relationships with internal CSM teams and client contacts 
3.    Expected to understand client's business needs  and deliverables
4.    Resolve client issues or inquiries
5.    Understand current Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that are directly related to job function(s) 


Relationship Management

 

1. Mentor junior Partners on how to establish, build  and maintain effective working relationships with key Partners internal and external to the organization

2. Drive the engagement of other Partners as appropriate to solve client inquiries/issues

3. Recognize impact of personal job function(s) on applicable partners to improve BAU knowledge gaps

4. As an individual contributor, continue to build  and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external Partners        

 

What You Need:

1. A college or university degree and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience 

2. Previous Financial Industry Operations, Asset Management and/or Investment Operations experience

3. Previous Client Service experience in a service oriented environment 

4. Previous exposure to business process and/or technology enhancement initiatives    

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must

6. Knowledge of financial services, asset management and/or investment operations

7. Analytical and problem solving skills

8. Highly flexible and adaptable to change
