The key responsibilities of the role include:

Provide optimum IOO Event Creation service for existing and new business clients. Adhere to the team's standards for client/partner servicing. 

Respond/acknowledge internal/external queries on a same-day basis not to exceed 24 hours.

In general and as other issues/enhancements are raised, work with Business Analysts to raise dockets, document requirements, and implement changes to processes and systems. 

Ensure client output is not negatively impacted by process changes. 

Projects initiated and changes implemented (documented and communicated with Division Manager) - Reduction in errors/exceptions.
 
Lead efforts to identify and resolve complex client or process issues. 

Monitor all exception levels within IOO Corp Actions to ensure adherence to reasonable standards and identify potential client or process issues. 

Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to Managers/Business Support IOO Corp Actions development efforts by participating in special projects and docket discussions, working with Business Analysts, and participating in analysis of new products/services.

Provide back-up coverage for Technical Coordinator on the team:

Responsible for the secondary approval of collection, verification and processing of Corporate Action related entitlements in an accurate and timely manner.

Daily review and maintenance of Global Inquiry Inbox.

Daily review and maintenance of Global Exception Reconciliation.

Approval of corporate action instructions to custodians.

Review and approve notifications for client review.

Monitor for full, timely and appropriate return of Fund Manager’s elections and initiate instructions out to Custodians.

Process corporate actions on multiple accounting systems with accuracy and according to agreed process guidelines.

The successful candidate will benefit from having: 

Excel proficiency required, MicroSoft, Bloomberg knowledge a plus.

Knowledge of securities markets, particularly corporate actions acquired through related training and work experience. 

Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize assignments.  Strong oral and written communication skills are required to liaise with clients and various support teams.

Demonstrated ability to work as a team player. Be self-motivating with proven attention to detail and able to work independently amidst competing pressures and deadlines.
