Summary:

 

We are seeking a Data Domain Specialist to join our Client Transitions & Account Services Change Team.

 

The Data Domain Specialist will blend expertise in data and analytics with a passion for mastering critical data. The role will be responsible for representing the Account & Party Data Domains serving as the single point of contact for the domains, implementing best practices and driving the vision for the Account & Party Data Domains including but not limited to Data Architecture, Data Quality, Data Standards, Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance.

 

The Data Domain Specialist will be a leader influencing change and will ensure the Domain Data is meeting the needs of the enterprise.

 

The position will interact with business stakeholders across the enterprise to promote and enforce a strategic data agenda and support the Account Opening & Reference Data Modernization initiative.

 

Major Duties

·       Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive data knowledge and experience. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business and information function activities.

·       Accountable for maintaining data quality and integrity within the assigned Domain standard terms and definitions for common data fields in assigned data domain.

·       Partners with Data Stewards, Data Custodians as well as DG Leads to ensure consistent definitions and classification for the data as well as the determining appropriate purpose of each instance.

·       Will work with the Stakeholders of the Data Domain and the Data Modernization teams to identify and drive the value creation roadmap for their domain in the Data Mesh

·       Advocate for the adoption of rigorous data quality management and for expanding the enterprise value of the data ensuring the data is strategically used to achieve business outcomes which include modernization, transformation, continuous improvement, regulatory and other initiatives.

·       Provide vision to project teams, resolving cross domain functional issues and aligning project work to the vision/functional designs provided.

·       Carries out the most complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.  Consistently displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the rest of the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of information solutions.  Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

Knowledge/ Skills:

·       Bachelor's degree in finance, Information Technology or related

·       10 years of experience within sphere of data domain

·       Experience in successfully communicating complex technical concepts, processes and procedures to all levels of audiences.

·       Experience effectively working with and implementing master data systems, processes and procedures across functions preferred

·       Experience leading large scale initiatives

         Ability to work with stakeholders and engaging senior leadership

         Master Data Management & project lifecycle experience

         Strong understanding of data relationships

         Ability to work and lead in a team environment across large and complex organization

         Possess broad-based knowledge of the domain data

         Understand all aspects of defining and implementing data quality management

         Ability to drive enterprise-wide initiatives for the definition and adoption of common data dictionaries and enterprise business ontology

         Ability to analyze project, program and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers
