Job Summary:
Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for supporting partners in wealth planning related work for high-income/net worth and/or ultra-high net worth individual and client family relationships. Responsible for collecting, reviewing and synthesizing personal and wealth profile data and modeling strategies and solutions integrating the spectrum of wealth management products and services. Provide support to Lead Relationship Manager as appropriate under overall client service team design.
Major Duties:
1.Collect, organize and maintain client personal and financial wealth plan profile data.
2.Review and synthesize client profile data and assist in the design of client profiles and wealth plans integrating wealth management, wealth transfer and tax efficiency goals.
3.Communicate with internal and external partners, professional advisors and others to obtain and deliver wealth plan related information.
4.Conduct fundamental research related to wealth plan solutions and strategies.
5.Identify and prepare fee analysis of products and services.
6.Prepare presentations for client meetings.
7.Where supporting Lead Relationship Manager, interact with service areas to help determine service requirements and issue resolution strategies and coordinate daily activities, oversee transaction processing, and handle inquiry resolution.
8.Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
9. May interact directly with committees and/or Senior Management. 
10.Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees. 
11.May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role). 
12.Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions.
13.Prepare and analyze balance sheets, financial projections and income and transfer tax illustrations.
14.Review, analyze and flowchart estate planning instruments.
 

Qualifications:
Candidates should have of 2+ years or more of tax and wealth planning experience with high-income/net worth individuals and families, ideally either from an accounting firm or with a financial planning background.  Knowledge of financial services, financial markets and financial planning, usually acquired by formal education or work related experience. Knowledge of financial analysis required to analyze and interpret data. Prior experience with financial planning modeling and estate planning reviews. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Word. BA/BS in Finance or Accounting or other business related major preferred. Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail. Basic understanding of a wide range of subject matters including: effectiveness of estate tax savings strategies, income taxation, stock options, investments and cash flow modeling. Ideally will have or be pursuing professional designations including CPA, CFP,
 MBA and similar evidence of advanced learning and professional qualification.
