What we do

Responsible for directing administration and planning for health and welfare benefit plans and retirement plans for Philippines and assigned countries. Receives general direction and is competent to work at the highest technical level on all benefit programs while working independently most of the time.

What you will do

  • Leads the design and approach to Benefits programs for Philippines and assigned countries and conducts timely review of benefit plan competitiveness. Recommends changes to policies, procedures, and practices to Management as appropriate. 
  • Reviews the operation of various facets of the benefits processes to assure compliance with corporate goals and various government regulations.
  • Receives general direction and is competent to work at the highest technical level on all benefit issues
  • Develops policies and planning direction for health and welfare plans such as medical, life and accident insurance plans, and retirement plans
  • Attends Retirement Committee and any other internal committee as required.
  • Analyzes and maintains equity of current benefits compared to trends and legislated requirements and ensures that benefit plans are in compliance with current legislated requirements.
  • Lead annual and quarterly benefits budgeting exercise for Philippines and assigned countries.
  • Directs and validates revision of written and website communication, summary plan descriptions, plan documents and, and all other plan related materials. Ensures clear and accurate work products
  • Leads vendor relationship for outsourced benefits program for Philippines and other assigned countries. Directs and oversees vendor activities. Supervises quality of work and provides high-level direction and feedback regarding performance
  • Provides comprehensive and extensive project management support to the team
  • Responsible for direct interaction with governing committees and management

Your Knowledge/Skills:

  • Technical Expert with in depth knowledge in the area of Benefits
  • Strong project management knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge in developing standards or best practices in Total Rewards especially for benefits and wellness programs.
  • Skills in translating broad strategic intent into tactical plans and directions and the ability to work effectively with clients and HR management and staff.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, conflict management and negotiation skills are required.
  • Requires excellent leadership skills and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Must be able to oversee complex local and regional projects or programs.
