The successful candidate will benefit from having:

 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience using  PowerPoint is essential
  • Able to produce evidence of PowerPoint presentations from previous work
  • Demonstrated experience following a sales performance practice (i.e. Franklin Covey) or sales methodology (i.e. Value Selling Framework, Solution Selling)
  • A good understanding of global custody/finance
  • Keen attention to detail/strong proof reading skills
  • Effective time management skills, with a proven ability to multi-task on a number of competing deliverables to a high standard 
  • High level of inter-personal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with all levels, up to Executive Management
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain an effective internal and external network
  • Demonstrated consultative and strategic approach to task, with an ability to ask probing questions to gain required information
  • Awareness of cultural and market nuances in each of Northern Trust’s key sectors would be helpful
  • Creative and flexible mind set
  • Accomplished written skills, covering a wide range of business communications, including such things as executive letters, brochure content, flyers, infographics, video scripts, speeches and award nominations
  • Strong command of the English language from a grammatical/technical perspective – including areas such as effective sentence structure
  • Data and content visualisation skills, including conceptualisation of slides and other assorted collateral
  • Demonstrated ability to absorb complex material/information/ideas and distil into core win themes and impactful messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to edit and refine existing content within a short timeframe
  • Demonstrated ability to blend variety of different content options to deliver multi-faceted campaigns
  • Robust knowledge of Marketing and Branding guidelines – ensuring that all content adheres to Northern Trust standards
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research prospects, sectors and new products
  • Prior experience in a strategic sales environment would be advantageous
