The Program Manager leads global talent programs, such as New Hire Onboarding and Mentoring, that will help support and develop our partners across the globe. These programs are critical to Talent Management’s success and thus will have visibility to various leadership teams depending on the projects (e.g., TM Leadership team, HR Leadership team, Business Unit leadership teams, etc.) The Program Manager may also manage other talent projects or processes that help further the vision of Talent Management. As such, the position requires prior experience managing projects with a bias on driving outcomes in the face of ambiguity as well as strong interpersonal skills to lead through influence and collaboration at this level.

 

Major Duties

  •  Develops, implements and administers global talent development programs, primarily focused on New Hire Onboarding and Mentoring
  • Provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners in talent development
  • Conducts needs analyses, formulates recommendations and gains buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Ensures solutions are globally relevant and consistent, where possible
  • Creates continuous improvement and maintenance plans aligned with business needs
  • Develops and manages reinforcement and communication strategies to keep opportunities top of mind for our partners and aligned to career and development goals
  • Defines and measures success and actively communicates to key stakeholders
  • Manages programs and projects with an eye toward defining the following: problem statement, current state assessment, future state recommendations, project plans, change management plans, clarifying roles and accountabilities (RACI), execution and communications plans
  • Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management
  • In some cases, leads cross-functional, virtual teams to execute against projects

Knowledge/Skills

  • Able to form strong relationships with business clients, learners/end-users and team members
  • Strong consulting, influence and conflict management skills
  • Prior project management experience, able to lead multiple mid-size and/or one large-scale, complex project on time (prioritization, budget management, resource management)
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage projects from start to finish building in benchmarks and status updates
  • Able to translate business needs into practical, user-centric solutions
  • Highly creative, innovative problem-solver able to work under time and client pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Good  business acumen
  • Able to translate program goals into tactical plans and directions 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills required
  • Relentless attention to detail, high standards, and the ability to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change

Experience

  • Experience consulting with internal clients to identify needs and translate into solutions
  • Experience developing and managing HR and Talent
  • Experience implementing projects that have had a clear impact on the performance and effectiveness of an organization
  • Some budgeting, forecasting and impact analysis experience is preferred
  • Vendor sourcing and vendor management experience

Qualification

  • BS/BA in relevant field is required
  • Related Industry qualification (e.g. SHRM) / or studying towards, is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years managing projects (preferably with global project experience
