Major Duties

 

  • Execute against Technology Third Party Risk Management program expectations by completing required ongoing monitoring of all Technology vendors
  • Project planning, stakeholder coordination and execution support of Technology vendor management risk assessments
  • Drafting email communications to stakeholders for coordination and tracking of NT Technology business unit progress for assigned activities
  • Completing training sessions (small group) with vendor managers to help explain expectations and risks
  • Ability to complete weekly/monthly reporting activities to show progress against annual goals
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing vendor relationships or improving efficiencies across Technology
  • Mediate issues as needed for in-scope vendors
  • Oversee risk and regulatory reporting for in-scope vendors to ensure effective risk management and compliance
  • Ensure partners are completing business reviews with vendors to align on contractual obligations and future opportunities
  • Keep a pulse on changing technologies at Northern Trust and understand vendors who are able to best support NT's technology goals and potential changes to the ongoing monitoring of these vendors

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic relationships, either as a vendor manager or client
  • Skilled at driving project deliverables
  • Comfortable collaborating with NT partners (Technology partners, Third Party Risk Management, Technology Risk)
