SUMMARY

MAJOR DUTIES

- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
- Works as a mid-level contributor to the Product Solutions team that is responsible for the following:
- This team of technical experts assume the role of product managers, of which this role focuses on business analysis and quality assurance
- This team will provide day-to-day decision making throughout the systems development lifecycle process in terms of defining scope, requirement writing, design solutioning with the development teams, actively managing development backlog/prioritization decision-making, and testing and/or testing oversight and sign off.
- This role will align to a dedicated development team; however, expected to support different development teams based on top priorities of the business
- This role will provide business analysis by writing user stories of development inclusive of acceptance criteria, calculation models and UI mockups; further, this role will oftentimes participate in refinement sessions with the broader team to determine solutions and related requirements
- This role will support test plan generation, test data setup and test execution to support quality assurance and validation of new development
- This role will provide oversight of additional testers that support the developer team in India with limited overlap time
- This role will have an expectation to clearly communicate within their Development Teams and across Development Teams to ensure business solutions are executed effectively and solutions are optimally built.
- This role will work very closely with Development Team “Agile Project Managers” (previously called “Workstream Managers”) who are responsible for organizing and delivering against technology development roadmaps; and with the Program Management Team’s Project Managers who are responsible for project execution.
- This role also will assist with client implementations as necessary in coordination with the Client Implementation team.
- Some members of this team may also work on client migrations from legacy to new systems.
- Ultimately, this team is responsible for delivering quality business solutions that are impactful to HFS’ clients, Omnium segment stakeholders (ex – IOO, Derivates, SMAO, APAC, EMEA, etc.), and NT partners.

EXPERIENCE
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- A College or University degree and relevant proven work experience
- Must have experience in one or more of the three areas below
- Experience with software development either through testing or business analysis
- Experience with Investment Management and/or Financial Services; Alternative Asset Management specific
- Proven product and / or project management practice
