Your Knowledge and Skills
As a SW Engineering Manager, you must have experience with at least some, but not all, of the following:
- You work hard to ensure your teams deliver within an Agile / Lean / XP mindset. You will encourage and track that your teams deliver incrementally, using automation, and look to reduce redundant / non-value-add tasks
- You stay current on the latest industry trends with Agile delivery and Cloud Development practices
- You are a proven leader, learn quickly, make sound decisions, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and look for opportunities to innovate and help the teams improve
- 5+ years of experience in application development management, HR management responsibilities, including strong experience with executing and delivering client facing applications based on business and client needs
Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to structure efficient, collaborative, and effective teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong client management skills and competencies, attention to detail and the ability to be proactive, prudent and confident in time-critical pressure situations
- You have experience with modern delivery methods and techniques such as DevSecOps, automation and human-centered design or design thinking
- General understanding of our tech stack: Spring Boot Microservices / Java Hibernate / / ReactJS / Kafka / JMS / Junit / Oracle / Pivotal Cloud Foundry
